Description

Cookies & Cream White Russian is a decadent twist on the classic White Russian cocktail, blending vodka, coffee liqueur, and cookies & cream liqueur with rich heavy cream for a smooth, indulgent drink. Garnished with crushed chocolate sandwich cookies and optional whipped cream, this creamy cocktail offers a sweet, dessert-inspired experience perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale

Liquors

  • 1 oz vodka
  • 1 oz coffee liqueur (like Kahlúa)
  • 1 oz cookies & cream liqueur (or substitute with Oreo-infused cream)

Dairy

  • 1 oz heavy cream (or milk for a lighter option)

Other Ingredients

  • Ice
  • Crushed chocolate sandwich cookies for garnish
  • Whipped cream (optional)
  • Whole cookie for topping (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Glass: Choose a short rocks glass or lowball glass and fill it halfway with ice to chill the base of the cocktail.
  2. Add the Liquids to the Shaker: In a cocktail shaker, combine vodka, coffee liqueur, and cookies & cream liqueur to form the flavorful base of the cocktail.
  3. Add Cream: Pour in the heavy cream or milk, which adds a velvety texture and balances the sweetness of the liqueurs.
  4. Shake & Mix: Add ice to the shaker and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds to thoroughly mix and chill the ingredients.
  5. Strain & Pour: Strain the chilled cocktail into the prepared glass filled with ice, allowing the creamy liquid to swirl beautifully.
  6. Garnish: Sprinkle crushed chocolate sandwich cookies on top for texture and optionally add a dollop of whipped cream and a whole cookie for an extra special touch.
  7. Serve & Enjoy: Serve immediately and savor the delicious, creamy, and sweet flavors of this indulgent cocktail.

Notes

  • You can substitute heavy cream with milk for a lighter cocktail.
  • Oreo-infused cream can be made by steeping crushed Oreos in heavy cream for several hours or overnight.
  • For a non-alcoholic version, replace vodka and coffee liqueur with coffee or cola and use cream or milk as preferred.
  • Adjust sweetness by adding more or less cookies & cream liqueur depending on taste.
  • Serve chilled and consume promptly for the best flavor and texture.
