For the Apples:
- 6 Fuji apples (peeled and sliced)
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- ½ tsp nutmeg
For the Crisp Topping:
- ¾ cup brown sugar
- ¾ cup old fashioned oats
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- 8 tbsp unsalted butter (diced into ½” cubes)
Instructions
- Prepare the Apples: In a large mixing bowl, combine the sliced apples, granulated sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Transfer to the slow cooker.
- Make the Crisp Topping: In another bowl, mix the brown sugar, oats, and flour. Add the cubed butter and cut it into the mixture until crumbly.
- Assemble: Spread the crisp topping over the apples in the slow cooker.
- Cook: Cover and cook on high for 2 hours. Switch to warm, uncover, and let cool for 30 minutes.
