Ground Beef Mixture:

Potato Layer:
- 5 medium potatoes, thinly sliced
Soup Mixture:
- 1 can (10.7 oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1 can (10.7 oz) condensed cream of chicken soup
- 1 can (12 oz) evaporated milk
- 1/2 cup milk
Cheese Layer:
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and spray a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
- Cook the beef: In a large skillet, cook ground beef with diced onion and minced garlic until beef is browned. Drain excess fat. Season with salt and pepper.
- Prepare the soup mixture: In a mixing bowl, whisk together the condensed mushroom soup, condensed chicken soup, evaporated milk, and regular milk until smooth.
- Layer the casserole: Layer half of the thinly sliced potatoes, followed by half of the beef mixture, then half of the soup mixture, and half of the shredded cheese. Repeat the layers.
- Bake: Cover the dish with foil and bake for 1 hour. Uncover and bake for an additional 30 minutes until the cheese is golden and bubbly.
- Rest and serve: Let the casserole rest for 10 minutes before serving.
