  • 1 cup pecan halves
  • 2/3 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips
  • Extra chopped pecans
  • Sea salt flakes
  • Drizzled caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×13 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Create Crust: Combine flour and brown sugar, then cut in the cold, cubed butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Press into the pan.
  3. Add Pecans: Sprinkle pecan halves over the crust.
  4. Make Caramel: In a saucepan, cook butter and brown sugar until bubbly and golden. Pour over pecans and crust.
  5. Bake: Bake for 18-20 minutes until the caramel is set.
  6. Add Chocolate: Sprinkle chocolate chips over the hot bars and let them soften. Spread into an even layer.
