Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C) and grease a 9×13-inch pan.
- Prepare Cake Batter: In a bowl, combine the cake mix, water, oil, and eggs. Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
- Make Apple Filling: Toss the sliced apples with brown sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice. Spread the apple mixture over the cake batter.
- Create Crumb Topping: Mix flour, brown sugar, and salt. Cut in the cold butter until the mixture is crumbly. Sprinkle this topping over the apples.
