  • Author: Ella
  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 12 sliders 1x

Description

These Philly cheesesteak sliders are an easy and delicious oven-baked meal perfect for busy families. Thinly sliced beef sautéed with onions and green bell peppers, topped with melted provolone cheese, and served on soft slider buns creates a flavorful and comforting dish that’s ready in under an hour.

Ingredients

Scale

Beef and Vegetables

  • 1 lb thinly sliced beef
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced

Cheese and Bread

  • 8 slices provolone cheese
  • 12 slider buns

Seasonings and Oil

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to prepare for baking the sliders.
  2. Sauté onions and peppers: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook the sliced onions and green bell peppers until they soften, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Cook the beef: Add the thinly sliced beef to the skillet with the sautéed vegetables and cook until browned. Season the mixture with garlic powder, salt, and pepper to taste.
  4. Prepare the buns: Slice the slider buns in half horizontally and place the bottom halves in a baking dish in a single layer.
  5. Assemble sliders: Spread the cooked beef and vegetable mixture evenly over the bottom buns, then layer the provolone cheese slices on top of the beef.
  6. Top and bake: Place the top halves of the buns over the cheese. Bake the assembled sliders in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until the cheese melts and the buns turn golden brown.
  7. Serve: Remove the sliders from the oven, slice if needed, and serve them warm for the best flavor experience.
