  • 1/2 cup milk (whole or non-dairy)

For Glaze:

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare an 8×8 inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. Combine Wet Ingredients: In another bowl, mix eggs, maple syrup, milk, and melted butter until smooth.
  4. Combine Mixtures: Gently fold the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until just combined.
  5. Bake: Pour the batter into the prepared dish, spread evenly, and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Cool and Glaze: Let the bars cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack. Mix powdered sugar and milk for the glaze, and drizzle over the cooled bars.
