Cream Cheese Frosting:
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 4 cups powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons milk or cream
Instructions
- Preheat oven and prepare pan: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease/flour a 9×13-inch baking pan.
- Combine dry ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves.
- Cream wet ingredients: In a separate bowl, cream butter, oil, and sugar until fluffy. Beat in eggs and vanilla.
- Mix wet and dry ingredients: Combine dry ingredients with wet, then fold in zucchini and nuts.
- Bake: Spread batter in pan and bake for 25-30 minutes.
- Prepare frosting: While bars cool, beat cream cheese and butter until smooth. Gradually add powdered sugar, then vanilla and milk/cream.
- Frost and serve: Spread frosting over cooled bars, cut into squares, and enjoy!
