Ingredients
Scale
Crust
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 packet instant yeast (about 2 1/4 teaspoons)
- 0.5 teaspoon salt
- 0.75 cup warm water
- 0.5 cup cold butter
Cheesecake Topping
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 0.5 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 0.5 cup raspberry jam
- 0.5 cup white chocolate chips
Streusel Topping
- 0.5 cup flour
- 0.5 cup sugar
- 0.5 cup cold butter
Instructions
- Prepare the Dough: In a mixing bowl, whisk together the 2 cups of all-purpose flour, instant yeast, and salt until evenly combined. Gradually add the warm water, stirring continuously until a dough forms. Knead the dough by hand for about 5 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.
- Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to 450°F (230°C). Lightly grease a baking sheet or line it with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
- Make the Cheesecake Layer: In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese with granulated sugar and pure vanilla extract until the mixture is smooth and creamy. Set this aside for assembly.
- Assemble the Pizza: Roll out or press the dough onto the prepared baking sheet into an even, thin pizza base. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly across the crust.
- Add Raspberry Jam and White Chocolate: Spoon small dollops of raspberry jam over the cream cheese layer and gently swirl it in to create a marbled effect. Sprinkle the white chocolate chips evenly on top.
- Prepare Streusel Topping: Combine the 0.5 cup flour, 0.5 cup sugar, and 0.5 cup cold butter. Use your fingers or a pastry cutter to mix until the mixture becomes crumbly. Sprinkle this streusel evenly over the pizza layers.
- Bake: Place the assembled dessert pizza in the preheated oven and bake for 13 to 14 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the streusel topping is crisp.
- Cool and Serve: Remove from the oven and allow the pizza to cool for 10 to 15 minutes before transferring it onto a cutting board. Slice and serve warm or at room temperature.
Notes
- You can substitute fresh raspberries for jam if preferred, but adjust sweetness accordingly.
- Ensure the butter for the streusel is very cold to achieve a crumbly texture.
- Letting the dough rise briefly before baking is optional here but could add extra softness.
- This dessert pizza is best served the same day for optimal freshness and texture.
